Aventurine




Crystalline Quartz contains inclusions of small crystal (unoxidized minerals) and gives a range of colors - depending on the nature of the inclusion. Hence aventurine may be green, greenish-brown, bluish-white, bluish green and orange (which is called “red”, peach or apricot). Aventurine’s claim to fame is having inclusions that look like sparkles that is called aventurescence.
