Olive green mixed with red. It is not
actually a Jasper at all but a mixture of Epidote, which is the green mineral, and
Piemontite, which gives it the red coloration.
It also may show some dark gray. Name
comes from legends that the stone was formed from the remains of ancient
dragons. Was given to warriors as a talisman of protection.
