Indigo Gabbro

 


Indigo Gabbro ~~silicate that’s rich in iron and magnesium and has a beautiful mixture and incredible array of colors, from light indigo to black. and gray. Found in Madagascar and is nicknamed the ‘wise soul’.

 In the sunlight,   it has a kind of violet iridescence that’s beautiful and unique.  Also called Mystic Merlinite. but not to be confused with Merlinite, which is a dentritic agate, and which is itself also often confused as a type of opal. Indigo Gabbro is also often confused with Blizzard Stone, which is a different type of Gabbro found in Alaska.
